Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. In the last decade Angela Evelyn has appeared in television and film. Her work has been recognized with several awards, among them 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett grew up at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt who lived in New York New York. Her mother split with her father when she was around five. She and her younger sister relocated into St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was a fan of James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still at high school and decided that acting is what she was looking to pursue. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and an advanced degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they were married. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
